18 Month Well Visit

Calvin is now 18 months and perfectly healthy!  The tubes have helped with the ear infections so far.  :-)  He's 21 1/2 pounds and 32 1/2 inches long.  He now says 5 words  - mama, dada, banana, night night, and help.  That's all the good news.  The bad news is that he is now having severe bedtime separation anxiety.  He refuses to fall asleep in his crib and instead requires rocking by mom or dad until he's completely dead asleep and then very, very, very gently put in his crib.  If he wakes during the night, going back to the crib is out of the question.  He's also waking up earlier and earlier.

Below is such an example of this.  He was still tired from waking up at 5:30am and didn't want to leave mommy to shower alone so he's snuggling up with the bathroom rug.
