Big Boy Room

We turned the guest room into Nick's new big boy room so we could free up the nursery for baby #2.  We involved Nicholas in the whole process and kept telling him that it was his new room and he would sleep in the big bed when it was all ready.  He even helped move his blankets, toys, etc. into his new room. 

We finished getting it all ready this weekend and last night was his first night in the big bed.  Rob and I were both nervous about how he would react, especially since he has never slept well anywhere other than home or daycare.  Would he go to sleep easily?  Would he wake up all through the night?  Would he try to get out of bed?  Would he somehow fall off the bed?  Well, he was a champ!!  He fell asleep all by himself, never woke up during the night and called for us when he woke up in the morning.  Hopefully he continues with this!
